Crunchi Cosmetics

If you've ever had a high end foundation that you can't find a green dupe for you're not looking hard enough. Crunchi is your guy. I've heard this one be compared to Estee Lauder's Double Wear Foundation. I could also compare to Mac Studio Fix, which I am familiar with. The coverage is not as heavy, but this foundation is buildable! So it's like medium to full coverage. They make it easy to help you find your shade. You can order a foundation sample pack if you aren't sure what your shade is.

Crunchi's Primer is another one of my favorite products they carry. It doesn't feel heavy and I can definitely see a difference in my foundation settling on my skin with this primer. Invest in it. It's worth having a primer to allow foundation to look flawless. It moisturizes all the while filling pores and fine lines for a more flawless finish.

Oh wow... getting real close here. But like look how well it settles onto the skin!

The Crunchi Mascara is not one to make your eyelashes look voluminous and chunky. It's the type of mascara to accentuate what you already have. This a good mascara for the "no makeup look".

They've also got some amazing lipsticks and lipglosses. These don't feel heavy and sticky at all. Super lightweight and also full of moisturizing oils! (Lipstick in Pure and Lipgloss shown in Namaste.)

So one time I was doing my cousin's makeup and I had forgotten my setting powder but she had the Tarte Smooth Operator setting powder, and it worked so amazingly! Unfortunately it contains some questionable ingredients, one of them being talc (ick!). Not even a week later I had the Crunchi Finishing Powder. The perfect dupe so I wasn't bummed about it at all. It finishes everything off so flawlessly. And it seriously just feels ridiculously soft on my face.

Ok, THIS BRUSH IS THE BEST BRUSH OF ALL EXISTENCE. It blend all foundations so well! I choose this brush over my sponge because it really just works so well with all foundations and I feel as if it doesn't suck up all the product. Lots of compact bristles and it's so soft but firm. If you don't want to buy anything from Crunchi that's fine but YOU'RE MISSING OUT ON THE BEST DAMN BRUSH IN THE WORLD. Pretty sure like 90% of green beauty bloggers have this brush because it's amazing.

Taking my brush to bed with me tonight cuz no one touches me like this little guy does.

Crunchi has definitely developed their products to work with one another flawlessly because they truly just compliment each other. You can definitely use these with other products but you bet your ass they work best and amazingly together.

Crunchi does use Dimethicone and Titanium Dioxide in some of their products. Dimethicone can sometimes be a skin irritant for people and because it is synthetic is also believed to be harmful to the environment which is not the case. The fear of Titanium Dioxide is from nano particles creating lung cancer, also if your makeup line contains titanium dioxide looks up the particle size. Nano is a no go because it can get into your lungs and cause health issues. From Crunchi's website because they can better explain and answer some of these concerns.

"A pure form of dimethicone is found in Crunchi’s Beautifully Flawless Foundation, Mascara and Eyeshadows. The Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel compiled all of the available data on dimethicone from over 100 independent studies in a comprehensive, evidence based report. From this data analysis they concluded it is unlikely that dimethicone is absorbed into the skin due to the large molecular weight of the polymer and that dimethicone is safe for use in cosmetic products. Therefore they concluded that dimethicone “may be used safely in cosmetic formulations.”

"The health concern involving use of titanium dioxide involves inhalation of the loose powder form. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) identifies inhalable titanium dioxide as possibly carcinogenic. To avoid this risk, Crunchi does not use titanium dioxide in any loose powder formulations."

Something I love about Crunchi is that they do not claim to be “natural” but instead they claim their products to be made with a combination of safe, certified organic, and eco-cert ingredients. They are open and clear about all the ingredients they use. They also have a blacklist that contains ingredients they avoid and why. You can also send them emails directly and they will openly answer any questions you might have. They have amazing customer service!

If you've tried Crunchi, I'd love to know what you think!
